THE Sharks produced their best first half ever!
A young side comprising Aisha, Dee, Janelle and debutant Laura playing together for the first time performed really well in the opening half and trailed just 3-2 at the interval.
The second half slump in fortunes was not about a lack of possession but more the level of fitness required to compete with good teams like Under-Estimated.
The final score was 9-2 but GWS, who were without unavailable top scorer Vicky, had nothing to be ashamed of.
Janelle and Laura scored and that first half really did give the Sharks hope that they can come on in leaps and bounds in the next few games.
Dee and Aisha mixed it up with skills and both came inches away from scoring.
Captain and goalkeeper Salma said: "A decent effort overall - it's taking part that counts"
