DAVE'S VIEWS ON THE TEAM TONIGHT.....

Salma
She was inspirational with her words and some of her saves. She kept out a couple of real rockets and was always quick off her line to deal with danger.
Huda
The quiet girl of the team worked hard in her time on the pitch, always chasing down the opposition and giving 100%.
Dee
What a fantastic display from Dee! She should be nicknamed TransformaWoman as she changes from abaya to football kit in less than 10 seconds!
Dee put in so much hard work, winning every tackle, playing some lovely passes and scoring a really nice goal. Groovy baby!
Aisha
She was a bit hard on herself afterwards as she was not pleased with her performance.
It is good to be self-critical and set higher standards, but her goals were fantastic, especially the long range one. Wow! Strong in the tackle and kept going even when things went occasionally wrong. Loved the drag-backs. Ronaldo-esque baby!
Vicky
I was expecting something special from the RoadRunner and she didn't let me down!
Four great goals, and she could have had several more but for the posts.
Constantly pressured their back line and was always a threat going forward. Put in a stunning amount of work for the team, a real thoroughbred, infectious personality and super smiles :)
Becky
Very hard to shake off the ball, kept on persisting and finally got her goal. Perhaps needs to release the ball a bit quicker at times, but she never stopped working for the cause. Lots more good things to come from this young prospect.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
I was really impressed with the Sharks last night.
They overcame a difficult start and their determination and persistence won them the three points.
Dee was totally outstanding, I cannot imagine she would have had many better games than that one.
The goals were good and the defending was first class.
Salma led the side in the way I expected her to, encouraging and inspirational, doing plenty of talking.
I don't consider myself a forceful character, but was really caught up in the occasion and did a little bit of a half time team-talk from behind the net and shouted lots of encouragement from behind the goal.
The girls knew what to do, but perhaps I gave a little helping hand.
I loved the view I got of Aisha's goal and I was so busy writing about it, that I missed Vicky's seconds later!
Loved watching the Sharks in action and a word on The Mighty Chicks too, keep at it and you can turn some of those defeats into wins and special praise for your young keeper who was superb.
