SHARKS finished bottom of the table for the first time after a heavy loss to Stone Army on Wednesday night.
Despite the result and a disappointing season, Salma was as upbeat as ever.
She said: "Each player tonight - Vicky, Dee, Camilla, Aisha and Jannelle - all pushed and all worked hard.
"As the opponents scored simple and near-miss goals the opportunity to win our final game slipped away.
"It's something you can't say much about, after such a tough season the Sharks fell short of victory once again.
"Topped off the season with sweat, tears and a fight in us!
"Good effort girls. We hardly found the luck this season. Perhaps we can be glad it's over and come back stronger? Who knows?
"Next week we miss the tournament as it's a good time to take a break and start afresh when we need to.
"This season we've made our 40 minutes into a hour or so of letting the opponents get ahead.
"I can hold my hands up to a lot of mistakes this season, we've all been frustrated and took it on each other.
"It's not the attitude we hold and let it reflect on us - that's not who the Sharks are.
"The Great White Sharks name speaks for itself, we have this bite in us to kill and to go forward as a unit.
"We are the underdogs, the unheard of and the ones who don't worry about last week's results as this week's game counts.
"We are the team that picks each other up and if we fall we come back with a vengence. We are the team if they challenge us we stand and say 'I Accept'.
"We are the Sharks who do not give up so why worry - it's only them who need to worry now as the only way now is UP!! #KeepOnBiting :) Proud of You all xxx
