FLYING START TO NEW SEASON FOR SHARKS

Aisha scored six tonight

GREAT WHITE SHARKS 14 (Aisha 6, Vicky 5, Camilla 2, Dee 1)
KINGS HEATHENS 1
FA FUTSAL CUP LADIES LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON 3 2014

FRESH start, fantastic result!
The Sharks began the new season in the second-level Championship with a massive win over newcomers Kings Heathens.
The opposition may not have been the strongest, but Sharks have earned themselves a few easier games after battling so hard against more powerful teams last season.
Utilising all player passes and stamina Sharks found themselves 10-1 up at half time.
The second half was more about concentration and creating more options which the girls did really well. Final result was 14-1.
Aisha scored a mighty six goals, her best total in a game for the Sharks.
Road-Runner Vicky knocked in five, Camilla with her wise moves netted twice and Dee also managed to rocket one in to finish on a high.
No subs used, just the Sharks treating themselves to a goal feast.
GWS may not be competing at the top level this season, but those teams in the Premiership, such as Stone Army, Birmingham Futsal Ladies and Under Estimated have all been beaten by the Sharks in the past.
Last season did not go so well, but last season is now history. We need to get ourselves back to a level where we can challenge and beat the top sides again as we have in the past.
By dropping a level we can regroup and re-build our confidence.
Team captain Salma said: "Tonight was beautiful!! We can't expect each game to be this easy in this competition, but let's stay in gear and look to do more damage!"
SHARKS: Salma, Dee, Camilla, Vicky, Aisha.
