SHARKS RALLY BUT SUFFER NARROW DEFEAT

THE Sharks always enjoy their battles with Under Estimated and this time went in with the mindset to finally beat them.
GWS started off really well, dominating for the first 10 minutes and Aisha put her team into the lead.
However, the opposition found a way through and scored quick back-to-back goals.
Sharks held solid until errors were made and another UE goal went in.
Nonetheless, battling hard each individual Shark remained positive and worked well as a unit. Apologies on behalf of Salma for making a save but losing possession. The end of the first half saw Sharks down 1-5.
Going into the second half, Sharks remained determined and went in even more solid.
All five GWS players battled hard, resetting to defend and taking shots on goal.
Vicky found the gap and scored her first.
Under Estimated attempted to build the pressure on but great defending was shown by Farzana and Dee.
The Sharks pushed on and once again top scorer Vicky found the target to make it 3-5.
Sharks were on a roll now but fell short of time. In defence they also held firm and prevented any more goals being conceded.
A defeat, but with 10 points in the bank and a safe place in the table, Sharks can be satisfied with the season so far.
Overall the team walked off knowing they gave it their all. A good battle, especially against a team as good as Under Estimated and the Sharks gave them a much closer game than previous ones.
