ANOTHER HEAVY LOSS

GREAT WHITE SHARKS 2 (Camilla 2)
BIRMINGHAM FUTSAL CLUB LADIES B 11
Joma International Birmingham Women's Futsal League Championship

ALTHOUGH GWS crashed to a heavy 11-2 defeat against Birmingham B, the night was not a complete disaster for the Sharks.
The Bees, the team below the Sharks in the table, lost as well, which means Salma's girls are still six points clear in third place.
And if the Sharks can beat The Bees next Wednesday, they will surely clinch third position as they would have a nine-point lead with just four matches left.
However, to win against The Bees, Sharks will have to defend better than they did against leaders Birmingham B.
On February 6, the Sharks had enjoyed a sensational 3-2 win over Bham, but there was to be no repeat last night.
Sharks lacked composure from the start, early errors allowing Bham two quick goals.
Bham then built up their attacks, slick passing bringing them two more net finders to make it 4-0.
Sharks hit back when a long throw by goalkeeper Salma assisted Camilla to head in their first goal.
However, come half time it was 5-1 to Bham.
The second half brought more defensive mix-ups and each player battling alone was not enough to stop Bham, who finished convincing 11-2 winners and stay top of the table on goal difference.
Camilla also scored the second Sharks goal, her shot deflecting off Aisha.
Salma said after the game: "Poor defending today and not making room cost us the game.
"For now it's a loss, but if we perform like this again it'll affect out league position.
"The difference between success and failure is doing nearly right to doing something exactly right and after tonight we have a lot of work to do."
