BIRMINGHAM WOMEN'S FUTSAL WEDNESDAY LEAGUE - JULY 4, 2012
GOALKEEPER Salma Bi scored her first ever goals for the Sharks in tonight's welcome victory over the Late Arrivals.
Salma's netted twice from long throw-outs which deflected into the goal off the opposing keeper - the Queen of Speen had them in a spin!
GWS made a great start, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes through Zem and top scorer Nazma.
Sharks then injected more bite by netting another two before half time, at which point they led 4-2.
Salma's long-arm tactics brought more joy for the Sharks in the second half with her brace of unique goals. Camilla then made a return in style, scoring two well-struck goals.
Nazma fired in the last goal, greatly assisted by the solid and composed Farzana, who also scored a goal of her own to maintain her fine form this season.
After the game, Salma said: "All the players turned up today, giving us the maximum chance. It was great to get back to winning ways.
"After all the knockbacks we've had recently we've managed to pick ourselves up eventually - we've failed our way to success!"
