VICKY SO SIXY AS SHARKS CLINCH THIRD PLACE!

Sixy Vicky the Roadrunner

GREAT WHITE SHARKS 7 (Vicky 6, Aisha)
THE MISSFITS 5
Joma International Birmingham Ladies Futsal League Championship - April 3, 2013

IT was a great night for the Sharks as they made sure of third place in the Championship with a hard-fought win over The Missfits.
Leading the charge was the amazing Vicky Roe who scored SIX goals to boost her total for the season to 30 in 13 matches.
The consistent "Ice-Ice" Aisha Bi also scored again and she is now the second highest goalscorer with eight.
Sharks had only five players available - Aisha, Vicky, Sarita, Salma and debutant Becky.
An early break for The Missfits allowed them to get 1-0 ahead before Vicky struck the equaliser.
However, The Missfits were in good form in the first half and led 4-2 at the interval, Vicky also scoring GWS' second goal.
The second half was time for the Sharks to fight back and they did just that!
A free-kick allowed the Roadrunner to complete her hat-trick.
Sarita, sitting back in defence, and Becky moving the ball around well enabled Aisha and Vicky to cause the damage up front.
Sharks pulled level, Vicky scoring again, before the Tamworth Terror wasted no time in smashing home another two goals to make it a double hat-trick.
With three minutes remaining and the Sharks ahead 6-5, Aisha finished off The Missfits with a powerful shot!
Salma said after the match: "Success is simple - it's doing the right thing at the right time. We are third best in the league and very proud."
