THIS year season 2011/2012 at the Birmingham International Futsal Arena, Europe's largest indoor arena, a new team has risen to a challenge.
A group of eight football-mad girls have entered the Champions League.

This female squad is not like any other. Proud to be the only Asian/Muslim-Female Futsal Team in Birmingham, these girls/women have made a huge impact.

Their biggest win so far was 10-4 against previous champions Birmingham United.
Playing 40-minute Futsal rules game every week, the girls have had a promising start with goal-scoring and working together as a team.With all players coming from all walks of life, there are no signs of settling for less.
Team colours are black and gold and the Sharks are sponsored by Believe in MAD (Making A Difference).
The girls have definitely made a difference to the nation by proving they can be more than just a teacher, nurse, cricketer, technician, youth worker or university/college student.

They can learn and play Futsal as well as any other player or teams that have progressed together for years.
